VR StorefrontUI/UX Redesign

Made for the Virtual Odyssey Festival, I designed a user interface that reimagines the VR game-buying experience. The goal was to make game discovery more immersive and social by introducing multiplayer functionality and integrating 360° screenshots of featured games. This allowed users to explore titles together in a shared space, enhancing engagement and replicating the feel of a real-world expo floor.
While the experience was optimized for VR users, I ensured that it remained accessible and intuitive for flat-screen users as well—creating a seamless cross-platform experience. The result was a dynamic, immersive storefront tailored to the unique expectations of XR audiences.
The VR store UI began as a concept in Gravity Sketch, which allowed for rapid prototyping and fast iteration in a fully spatial design environment. This phase enabled quick experimentation with layout, interaction flow, and spatial hierarchy, ensuring the foundation was solid before moving into development.
Once the core concept was validated, a functional version was built within Banter, allowing for real-time testing and user interaction. From there, the design was refined both visually and functionally—enhancing usability, improving aesthetic cohesion, and optimizing the overall user experience for both VR and flat-screen users.
